Circus Themed Party | Melissa Andre Events

Quite possibly one of my most favorite designs, this circus themed party editorial blended child-like whimsical elements with a playful bridal look and everything that sparkles in between. I can see this colorful design working for a birthday party, baby shower, a fantasy filled summer soirée, or a unique wedding theme for a couple who likes to get creative and keep things different. I wanted to create something without any traditional wedding elements that was so beautifully detailed that adults and children alike could appreciate it. We sourced really rare elements like the old carousel horses, but also blended new elements in that can be readily sourced today, like the anthropologie plates. I’ve had event planners and designers all over the world reference this piece from my portfolio when they reach out to me so it makes me so thrilled to know that so many people who saw it, thought it was as special as I did. I even had a client ask to frame images from this editorial in their children’s play room. So, if I had to choose one event of mine that I felt had crossed the most design borders, aesthetics, and applications, this would likely have to be the one.
